Data Deletion

This page explains how to disconnect integrations and delete your data.

Delete your Parendipity account and data

If you'd like to delete your Parendipity account and all associated data, please email us at support@parendipity.ai from the Google account you used to sign in.

In your email, include the subject line "Delete my Parendipity account".

Once we receive your request, we will:

  • Verify that you own the account,
  • Remove your Parendipity account and associated data from our systems (including event data we created from your Gmail and Calendar), and
  • Send you a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

You can also revoke Parendipity's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account settings under Security → Third-party access. Revoking access stops future data access, while emailing us at support@parendipity.ai ensures your existing Parendipity data is deleted.

What happens when you delete your account

  • We revoke OAuth tokens and disconnect all integrations.
  • We delete your user profile and app content that we store, for example preferences and cached event metadata.

Backups and some system logs persist for a limited period, typically 30 to 90 days, then are purged on schedule. We do not use backups to resurrect deleted accounts, except if required to investigate fraud or to comply with law.

How to revoke Google access without deleting your account

In your Google Account, go to myaccount.google.com, Security, Third party access, select Parendipity, then Remove access.

Revoking access stops future data access, while emailing us at support@parendipity.ai ensures your existing Parendipity data is deleted.

Timeframes

  • OAuth tokens are revoked within minutes.
  • Primary records are deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
  • Backups rotate off within 30 to 90 days.
  • We may retain information if required by law, for example tax, accounting, or to enforce our terms.

Data we may process from Google

  • Calendar, event metadata, and related identifiers when you grant calendar scopes.
  • Email metadata and selected message content only if you enable Gmail features later. We apply Google's Limited Use rules described in our Privacy Policy.
