Both of you are busy Thursday. Who has the kids?

Parendipity spots the window nobody is covering, drafts the text to grandma or the sitter, keeps track of who said yes, and shows the same answer to both parents and the person helping.

LATER THAT DAYGrandma Joan said yes.Thursday is covered. We told Lauren too, and sent Joan the entry code and bedtime notes.

The gap hides in two calendars until the week it happens.

A late meeting on one calendar. An away game on the other. Each one looks fine on its own. Then it is Wednesday, someone notices, and the group text to grandma, the sitter and the neighbor begins. Parendipity sees both calendars together, so the gap shows up the day it is created, with the ask already written.

How it works

1

We spot the window

When both parents have something on, the uncovered stretch shows up as one item: who is where, which kids, and the exact hours. Adjust the padding if practice always runs late.

2

You pick who to ask

Your own people: grandparents, a sitter, the neighbor. We draft the text with the date, the kids and the hours. You send it from your own Messages. They do not need the app.

3

One answer, everywhere

They tap yes on a link. The gap closes for both parents, the evening goes on the calendar, and the helper gets a page with what they need: address, entry code, routines.

Made for the way families actually cover

Your people, not strangers

Coverage is not a sitter marketplace. It only asks the caregivers you have added, and nothing goes out until you hit send.

Ask two, keep one

Text more than one person and we hold the state. The first yes fills it; everyone else sees it is handled, with no awkward follow-up from you.

Details only after yes

Before they accept, the link shows the date, kids and street. After, it opens up: entry code, bedtime, allergies. If plans change, the link goes dark and the calendar reverts.

Three kids, two places

Windows are per child. If one kid is at a sleepover and two are home, the ask says exactly that, and split coverage between two helpers works too.
