School lunch

Every pack day for the month, known the day the menu lands.

Parendipity picks up the school lunch menu from your inbox, learns what your kid will actually eat, and marks every pack day for the month the moment the menu arrives. Both parents see it in the same command center.

The menu is on the fridge. The decision happens at 6:45 AM.

Somebody checks the menu and remembers which kid will not touch the chicken tenders. Or nobody does, and a lunch gets packed that did not need to be. Parendipity picks up the month's menu the day it arrives and marks every pack day up front, once, for the whole house.

How it works

1

Get the menu in

Forward the school's menu email, snap a photo of the printout, or paste the link. We pick up the school days, the entrées and the everyday options.

2

Rate a few lunches

Swipe through the month's entrées: will eat, won't eat, not sure. Two minutes per kid. Kids can do it themselves. After the first month we only ask about new dishes.

3

See the whole month

Every school day is marked: buying, packing, or grab the backup. Pack days land in Today. Either parent swipes to mark it packed, with a reminder the evening before if you want one.

Built around how lunch actually goes

Grab days are not pack days

If the cafeteria has a yogurt parfait every day and your kid likes it, a no on the entrée is not a packing job. We tell you what to tell them to grab instead.

Both parents, one answer

Mark it packed and your co-parent sees "Packed · Lauren · 6:52 AM." No second lunch, no text to check.

The whole month at a glance

A month view per kid, tinted by what they'll eat, with every pack day marked. Tap a day to correct a guess. Works for siblings at the same school.

Fits the rest of the week

Pack days show up next to practices, rides and permission slips in the weekly plan, and can sync to Google Calendar if you want them there.
